COVID-19 has impacted all areas in life, and campaigning is no exception. So how do you campaign in these uncertain times? We’re using contactless “door-drops” with campaign literature in order to still get our name out to voters but respect social distancing. Ross and all campaign volunteers always wear masks in case we bump into someone in their driveway, on their porch, or just passing on the sidewalk.
This pandemic is serious, and not going away. Political candidates are not exempt from the rules. While normal door to door canvasing is the best way to interact with voters, that kind of interaction puts us all at risk. Wash your hands, wear a mask, stay safe.
